Functions and Events
We offer flexibility of venue hire and exclusive use for groups and special events
Venue Hire
We will consider any requests for hireage. Charges for room hire may be subsumed if a meal is organised at the venue. At our discretion, we may waive the hire charge for community groups or clubs.
Venues can be set up for different types of function accommodating different numbers of people:
Cocktails – standing guests
Banquet – table meal
Theatre – see below
Board room – meeting set-up with tables for writing, with water and a head of table
Class room – lecture theatre set-up
Entire Venue
These charges are for the exclusive use of the whole venue – including all outdoor areas, the café, the bar, the wine lounge, the Matuku Moana room, and the courtyards.

Matuku Moana Room
Named to draw attention to the matuku moana, or reef heron, which is at risk in New Zealand. Hire of the Matuku Moana Room includes access to the wine lounge and the courtyards and outside areas.
