Dolcetto Reserve 2014
The 2014 summer was hot and dry. As good as, if not better, than the wonderful 2013.
The grapes were harvested in the first week of April, de-stemmed but not crushed, and given extended time on the skins during fermentation: 25 days.
The wine was oak aged for about a year.
The result is a deeply coloured ruby-purple wine with firm tannins. Dark cherries and brambles characterize the palate.
Bottled January 2016, this will age for many years.
Limited release - only 100 cases produced.
