Fill Your Own Bottle Day

Heron's Flight Harvest Dolchetto March 2022

This is rather short notice, but we have to press out this years Sangiovese (picked 2 weekends ago, just before the deluge), and we need the tank which is holding the FYO wine. So come help us empty it!

Our last FYO was early December, and very popular. So I figure everyone should be running low of that wine anyway- and need to stock up for Easter and beyond!

We will have new bottles if you need them ($1.50 with corks). And the price for the wine is the same as last time: $15/bottle with a minimum of 6 bottles. With a 'bakers dozen' applying again.

If you have any questions, email me directly. But, otherwise, the process is the same as always. 9.30-1pm. Or until the tank is empty.

We will also be doing sausages on the BBQ. Our son, Luke, loves doing this when he's home. And he just flew in from the Caribbean last week.

We also just finished picking our olive trees last Friday. Everything was incredibly early. We normally pick the grapes in April and the olives in May. So everything was harvested in March! Crazy. But both the grapes and the olive oil are incredible. The vintage for the grapes was small, but of excellent quality. For those who attend the FYO, you'll be able to see all the grapes in the fermentation vats.

Anyway - we hope to see many of you this Sunday.
